1. Before choosing a herb or any herbs, a herbalist would recite the below mantras to empower them so as to have maximum healing effects:

It is believed that after reciting the above mantras, whatever the herbalist chooses to use shall be effective.
2. The below mantra empowers all sorts of herbs:
Whatever mantras recited should be ended by blowing a breath of air onto the herbs so as to 'give' them life.

VISATOMANJU, VIINYO, SARVANAYO, JAWANTUJA, AHWASARAJA, VAGANJARA, NINAMTIJA, PANGMAPARA, TIWUJA, SANGSARIE, SANGSARIETONENG, PAYASIANTA, VINIEKARE, SANSATANMIEJAPA, SANGNAMARASIENANG, PAMATINO, PANJIDUWAYA, PIMIESANTI, BHAGAWA, MENTA, KUNTAMA, ANJATIAHRA, GAYABHAYATI, AHMANTAM, NIPAYANGGATAM, EWAMATIKUNIE PIETAAHNIEKA, KUNASANGGAHAM, WOSIATAM, YUMANGMANTAMPO, SANGGAKANJA, PALITAM, TANPANAMALIE!"
